Behold the most successful fighters on earth here. Scientists estimate the success rate of dragonflies in hunting at 90-95%. Dragonflies don't just chase their prey, but intercept it by calculating where it will be at a certain moment and that turns out to be a success story.

The chances of success for dragonfly males who try to hunt females a little too brutally are probably a lot lower. Against such an attack, the female dragonflies have a handy trick: in full flight, they freeze and drop to the ground as if dead until the coast is clear again!
