Dream Out Loud: We dedicate this stylish cardigan to Leonardo Da Vinci, one of history's wisest men. Primarily famous as a Renaissance artist, he was also an overall genius, with interests that included anatomy, science, architecture, and technology.

What's special about it? The light and soft fabric, the colourful cuffs and its lovely shape give Leonardo's cardigan an elegant smart-casual look for both boys and girls.

What is it made of? 70% certified organic cotton, 30% superfine baby alpaca. This material is soft and healthy for children’s skin, as well as light and comfortable to wear. YKK zipper, upcycled leather tag.

Care for a tip? Wool programme in washing machine, dry flat.

When to wear? When the weather is cool or cold. On beautiful autumn days, or cold December mornings, under a coat.

Über Marke

The Extra Smile stellt ethische Kindermode her: farbenfroh, frisch und mit Respekt für Mensch und Umwelt. Diese Marke möchte jeden, der mit der Kleidung in Kontakt gerät, zum Lächeln bringen: den Bauern, der die Baumwolle erntet, die Näherin, die liebevoll die Säume näht, die Kinder die sie tragen und die Erwachsenen, die (versuchen) die Kleidung in einem guten Zustand zu halten. The Extra Smile arbeitet mit zwei transparenten Arbeitsplätzen in Kambodscha. Sie haben die Orte vorher selbst besichtigt und dann beschlossen, dass sie ihre Kleidung dort produzieren möchten. Auch jetzt besuchen sie die Arbeitsplätze noch regelmäßig. Um etwas an die Bevölkerung von Kambodscha zurückzugeben, unterstützt die Marke die französische NGO Pour Un Sourire D’Enfants, um den Kindern zu helfen. Die Kleidung wird aus GOTS-zertifizierter Biobaumwolle hergestellt. Außerdem werden übrig gebliebene Stoffe verwendet und Prints auf Anforderung gemacht. Momentan ist die Kollektion der Marke sogar vegan, aber es wird auch an einer Alpaka-Kollektion gearbeitet, die aus leidensfreier Alpakawolle von einer Farm die sie momentan oft besuchen, hergestellt werden soll.
