About the YOT ™ concept

In 2023 we started the collaboration with New Retex, the technological textile sorting facility in Bjerringbro, Denmark, to find solutions on how to sort and spin new yarns from post-consumer waste. In a revolutionary setup, we have started the journey as the first company in Denmark to launch products on the market, that has a composition consisting of New Retex yarns made partly from Danish Houldehold textile waste.

This could be your old tee
These products could in fact be your old t-shirt or sweatshirt which you deposited in the landfill or threw away in textile waste in 2022 or 2023.

The small spots in the fabric is actually old textiles from your household made into new yarns. We think that is quite amazing and in the future the composition will consists of more post-consumer waste as the technology gets even better.

Ursprung: Superstainable

Superstainable® ist eine nachhaltige Lifestyle-Marke. Diese Marke bekennt sich zu allen 17 nachhaltigen Entwicklungszielen der UN. Alle ihre zeitlosen Lifestyle-Produkte basieren auf Qualität und bewusstem Konsum, wobei die Produkte aus organischen, recycelten oder anderen nachhaltigen zertifizierten Materialien hergestellt werden.

Fair Trade: Die Artikel werden in er Türkei und China fair hergestellt. Die Fabriken sind GOTS,Oeko-Tex and SA8000 zertifiziert. Das sind führende Zertifizierungen im Bereich der sozialen Produktion. Alle Fabriken sind dazu durch die Fair Wear Foundation gestützt, die faire Produktionen garantieren.

Umweltfreundlich: Die Kleidung wird in China und der Türkei unter ethischen Bedingungen aus GOTS- (Global Organic Textile Standard), OCS100- (Organic Content Standard) und GRS- (Global Recycle Standard) zertifizierten Materialien hergestellt: Bio-Baumwolle, Bio-Wolle, Post-Consumer-Recycling-Polyester und recyceltes Metall. Für das Leder der Uhren wird biologisches, pflanzlich gegerbtes Leder aus Schweden verwendet.

Guter Zweck: Superstainable unterstützt die Organisationen Plastic Change, EcoTree International und WILD Nature Foundation.
